What the free local SEO and AI visibility audit covers
A homeowner with a burst pipe now gets an answer from six places, and your company either appears in each or it does not. The audit checks all six for the searches that actually book a job.
| Surface | What Frank checks |
|---|---|
| Google Search | Where you appear for trade-and-town searches. The foundation of local SEO (search engine optimization). |
| Google Maps | Whether your Google Business Profile (GBP) is complete, categorized correctly and competitive in the map pack. See GBP optimization. |
| AI Overviews and AI Mode | Whether Google’s AI answers name you, name a competitor, or name nobody local at all. |
| ChatGPT and Perplexity | What these assistants recommend for a plumber or AC company in your city. Covered by LLM and AI search optimization (LLM: large language model, the technology behind ChatGPT). |
| Website conversion | Whether a phone visitor can find your number, service area and a reason to call within seconds. |
| Cost-per-lead math | What a new customer costs you, what one is worth in net profit, and what the gaps add up to in dollars. |
Who the audit is for, and who it is not for
Established home-service companies: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, drain and sewer, roofing and restoration. Real revenue, several trucks, more than one town served, and a job value high enough that one extra booked job a week changes the month. Most clients are in Southwest Florida; see the service areas.
It is not for startups, national franchises, or anyone shopping for the cheapest ranking report. If you are early, Frank will say so.
The exclusivity check comes first
We take one client per trade, per market, and never work for a client’s competitor. Frank checks first whether your trade and city are taken, and tells you straight away if they are. If your market is open, it’s yours.
What you get back, and when
1. You send the form
Company, trade, the city you serve, your website.
2. Frank reviews it personally
He checks the market, then walks the six surfaces above for your real trade-and-town searches.
3. A written review and a call
Within a few business days you get a plain-English written review of where you stand and what the gaps cost, then a call with Frank to go through it.
4. A straight answer
If it is a fit, you get a scope and a scoreboard: calls by source, booked jobs, cost per lead, net profit. If not, you hear that too.
Questions before you request the audit
Is the audit really free, and what is the catch?
Yes. Frank is looking for companies he can work with. If your market is open and the numbers make sense, he proposes an engagement. If not, you keep the review and owe nothing.
What if my competitor is already your client?
Then we cannot take you on in that trade and market, and we say so on first contact. That policy has held since 2000.
Do I need to share my current agency’s report or my ad spend?
Not required, but helpful. The cost-per-lead math is sharper when Frank can see what you pay now and what it produces.
Will the audit tell me how to rank number one?
No. It tells you where you appear across Search, Maps, AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, what each gap costs in booked jobs, and what to fix first. Rankings are an input. Net profit is the scoreboard.
