How we serve Marco Island and the wider region

The office is on Marco Island. The work travels. Local SEO (search engine optimization), Google Business Profile (GBP) work and AI visibility are done for specific towns and trades, because the searches that book a job in Cape Coral are not the ones that book one in Miami. Every engagement is scoped to your real service area, city by city.

Each of the nine cities below has its own page describing the market as a market: who lives there, how the season swings, what the housing stock does to demand for the trades, and how crowded the map pack is.

Collier County

Marco Island

Our home base. A winter population that roughly doubles, canal-front homes, and salt air that shortens the life of every AC unit on the island.

Naples

The most competitive home-service map pack in Southwest Florida. Gated communities, high job values, dozens of companies chasing three spots.

Lee County

Bonita Springs

Sits between the Naples and Fort Myers markets, so homeowners here see both cities’ companies in results.

Estero

Fast-growing and largely master-planned. When one community’s same-age systems start to fail, they fail together.

Fort Myers

The county seat and the hub the Lee County trades run out of. Post-hurricane rebuilding still shapes roofing demand here.

Cape Coral

A large, spread-out city of single-family homes on canals. Well, septic and pool work sit alongside the usual plumbing and HVAC calls.

Sarasota and South Florida

Sarasota

A separate media and search market to the north, with barrier-island homes, an older housing base and a strong seasonal swing.

Miami

Dense, bilingual and condo-heavy. Search volume is large, so is the field, and English and Spanish searches often surface different companies.

Fort Lauderdale

Canal-front homes, an active remodeling scene and a home-service market that overlaps Broward County towns in every direction.

One client per market, city by city

Each city above is one market. In each market we work for one plumber, one HVAC company, one electrician, one roofer, and so on. If we take a plumbing company in Fort Myers, no other Fort Myers plumber can hire us for as long as that client stays. A plumber in Sarasota is a different market.

If your market is open, it’s yours

The policy has not changed since 2000. We never work for a client’s competitor, so the first thing we check on any call is whether your trade in your city is taken.

Why the AI and Maps work is market-specific

Google Maps ranks a business for the area around its location and its declared service area, not for the whole state. Google’s AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity behave the same way: asked for “an AC repair company in Estero,” they pull from businesses with clear Estero signals, meaning a complete Google Business Profile, a page about Estero, consistent citations and reviews that mention the town.

That is why our local SEO work starts with the towns you actually serve and the trades you want more of. Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and LLM optimization (a large language model is the technology behind ChatGPT and similar assistants) are built on that same city-by-city foundation. None of this work is anything but local.

Service area questions

Do you work outside these nine cities?

Yes. The nine cities are where we concentrate, but we serve Southwest Florida and beyond. If you are an established home-service company elsewhere in Florida, call and we will tell you whether your market is open.

What counts as a market for exclusivity?

A trade plus a city, roughly matching how Google draws the map pack. One plumber in Naples, one HVAC company in Naples. A company serving several cities takes each of them for its trade, and we decline every competitor in them.

My company serves Naples and Fort Myers. Is that one engagement or two?

One engagement, scoped to both markets. Each city gets its own pages, its own Google Business Profile signals and its own reporting on calls and booked jobs. You hold exclusivity for your trade in both.

Pick your city above, or ask Frank directly.
